So it's time for a downpipe and exhaust, already have a hollow cat. I'm addidcted to ebay and i know from experience that a lot of things on there are shit but I usually know what to look for. However when it comes to which down pipe and exhaust are better i don't have a clue. if they are all stainless steaal, is the cheap like $150 cheap not good? I am looking to go with a 3" setup. I know that my cat is not 3"

yeah it is cheap LOL. you would need a pipe bender or buy then bends you need and weld them. sounds so easy don't it? LOL I'm just glad this kit will fit mine so I don't have to do any of them. but I wanted to make sure it's good enough before i order it

If you go ebay for an exhaust make sure all the welding points are good and upgrade the exhaust gaskets if necessary.

ok so here is what i have ran into with my ebay exhaust. first i had an apex i n1 full exhaust from the turbo back, then one day driving home a steel plate in the road decided to hit my exhaust and rip/straighten it out. so after that happened i did not want to spend the money on another apex, and i bought an ebay exhaust, cat back, bc i was able to still use some of the old apex and just cut and reweld. i bought one that was not the cheapest but not the most expensive. i have had it for 2 years with no rust and sounds great. also it is a 3 inch. i think i paid about 180ish.

well currently I'm in the middle of a 6 bolt swap cause I have a lot of low end noise ( think it's a rod). I still have that exhaust saved in my cart, now I'm clutch shopping LOL

yeah that could be too, but I don't really care I wanted a 6 bolt and what a better excuse? LOL I've already purchased the engine and several components and I can't wait to get it all done!

I had an Ebay "Speed Daddy" catback on my car when it was FWD, it was on for a couple years with zero issues, fitment was excellent, bolted up to a Megan 3" dp.

I've been running a 3" ebay downpipe and 3" cat-back for a couple years now with no issues. Fitment was good, sounds great and was cheap. I got the cat-back from CXRacing and the downpipe from LingLong or some other Chinese dealer. Shit, up until I took the car down for more power I ran a CXRacing EVOIII for 10K+ miles at 22-24 psi without a single issue.

Hell yeah Ed, your close, 5150 thanks I'm definitely doing it, just gotta get this clutch shopping out of the way

I have a exhaust shop that does all my exhaust on my cars for 250 he made me a 3inch down pipe with a muffler and 3inch all the way back. sure it was crush bend but I think the mandrel bending didn't make a difference till about 400 and some horsepower

Go with the SRS cat back exhaust I been running these for 3 years without a single issue also still really shiny.....:)

i can say from experience my old civic yess civic -__- i got an ebay exhaust for that it was great buuuuut. after about 7 months somehow the muffler tip literally blew out haha. didnt affect anything though. and that was a civic. so yes your good just make sure your welds stay good mine went through a western NY winter and the welds had some rust
