There are other EBAY catbacks, that do not have that, and where it meets the cat is 2.75". Not enough of a neck down to actually matter. But there are some where it necks down significantly to 2.25-2.5".

I don't know what you are looking at but it clearly says free shipping.
Also even if it was that price, that is still a good price.
How much cheaper do we need our parts, they keep getting cheaper.
There are a few variant of EBAY catbacks. If the one pictured is the one they give you, then watch out for that squeezed portion which might be a restriction.

Question: What the hell is this thing poorly welded (if you can ever consider that a weld) on the side of the muffler case? Don't exhaust hangers typically protrude from the system to reach a hanger?
If the Eclipse system is equal in quality as that one pictured, then I'd steer clear of it. Unless you don't mind paying for a low quality, sub-par product.
I just figured they were adding insult to injury by drilling an unneeded hole in a poorly placed hanger. At the tip of the poorly welded hanger there is a threaded piece for a screw that holds it to the rubberized piece under the car.
My guess is that it was done for added clearance from a rear axle, etc...Whats the giant square dent in the piping all about? Am I the only one seeing this or what? That and the hanger both look like garbage.
