ebay exhaust systems?

It looks like the Option one doesn't neck down too bad. Looks like its a 2.75" neck down? Looks good, was that the $50 one?

yes this is the 72.95$ one i got it for 67.11 because i had an eBay coupon but i would say with the silencer out its about 2.5 in and with it in its about 1.5 in just my guess its 3.30 am so ill measure it tomorrow if i get time. You should see the eBay headers to cat back my friend got for his civic they are so nice.

I was wondering if anybody has one of these

They claim that it's 3" piping with a stainless steel muffler.

I know that the cheap Tsudo catback exhausts for the 2g GST are pretty good quality so I don't underestimate cheap ebay exhausts. But I'm wondering if these awd exhausts are good as well.

Any help is appritiated:dsm:

Just got one question, whats a warrenty?

Looks very good. Is there such a thing as high heat clear coat? just wondering.

Just checked my stuff, it's also 500*.

I used it on my valve cover and intake and it's held up fine for over 6 months so far.

AFter seeing your measurements, it looks like that one is different than other ebay catbacks. If you read this entire huge thread, you will some where it only necks down to 2.75", both downpipe and catback.

However that one you have there is not even 2.5" that would be a problem for a lot. You should have that fixed before putting it on IMO

This is the same exhaust we installed on my sons 96 GSX. Did not just bolt in. We went to our mechanic to have him install and he couldn't. So being a good father we installed it ourselves. We had to remove rear hanger and reverse. Also had to heat the same hanger with a MAPP Torch and bend to catch hanger. We live in New England so not being all stainless it started to look a little grungy. It's good to see the extra paint can't hurt.

Same exhuast I have it necks down to 2.5 and you'll have to drimmle out the bolt holes for the cat. Mine bolted up just fine and is doing good as we speak. Bolted right up without any problems...If I remeber right its 3inch pipe with a 4.5 inch muffler. I've never even used my silencer and it sounds great. Not to loud and mellow sound..

how is that a problem?

also all the hangers have threads in the holes why is this if any one can tell me

how is that a problem?

It's not a problem if you're connecting it to the stock catalytic converter. When you upgrade to a larger high flow cat and downpipe you'll want to remove the neck down section.

Because the bolts on the stock rubber hangers screw into it.

this much i know 3"inch srs cat-back stainless steel systems on e-bay are sweet for $200.00 i purchased one over a year ago for my daily driver 98 gs-t and still looks new which is pretty good considering i live in alaska.:hellyeah:

so whens the install munk? i wanna here how shes going to sound like

Well it may be a while i work 4-11 at night and normally don't get up until 2 pm so i don't really have time to bring it to a shop to get it put on and the shops around here want crazy prices to put the dam thing on. i tried my self but i cant get the 02 sensor out i even hit it with a torch then sprayed some liquid wrench on it with no success. i may try again on my next day off if i can get this on by my self that's my goal.

and RedTurboEclipse i always enjoy ## right ups on the good ebay parts this thing is a straight up bolt on catback i also notised today the box it cam in says 3" gst catback on the side LOL. Ok so my friends dad hasn't called me back so i may have to take this thing to a shop to get it on because today i tried again to torch the dang 02 sensor out and wrench on it no luck. i will get this thing on soon LOL

Just being Honest wit u bro don't get that atleast find one on ebay that is a name brand
In your profile you have a "TSUDO CAT BACK EXHAUST" listed. Congrats on giving "advice" that you don't follow yourself.

even with name brands you can have problems. i have a sbr 3" turbo back.i had to send it back because all of the hangers were wrong. three weeks later i called and they hadnt fixed it yet so i told them to send it back and i would weld it myself. and they sent me a regular o2 housing and i ordered an external dump. after i sent it back they just cut and welded a pipe onto it in the shop. they didnt even use the same metal.
but after all is said and done it is a nice setup

So this will bolt right up? The hangers are in the right places and positions?
