ebay exhaust systems?

i bought a 3" TSUDO N1 from the same seller on ebay about a month ago, for my GSX, and it fit perfect. mine has a slight angle to it, i have a pic of it on my profile. very deep, no problems installing either. it seemed heavy so i got all new exhaust rubber hangars, so it's tight under the car w/ no rattles. i know the gst exhaust has different bends but i hope this helps ya.

I bought the 3.5 inch tsudo exhaust system off Ebay. I have no complaints what so ever. Nice welds, full stainless steel, thick flanges, and a nice deep tone to put the cherry on top. :D

BTW its really 3.5"..is it straight or changes in diameter..?? what about downpipe to cat back..is that cat back ready for 3.0" dowpipe?
THX

My friend bought a nice 2.5in exhaust for his lancer off the same guy and I was impressed on how good it looked for the money he spent

I contacted this seller about
he ansered:
"hi it is mostly 3.5, but where it bolts on to the stock cat will be smaller in order to direct bolt on to the stock cat, thank you."
So.. Iam not sure if its ready for real stock downpipe or for 2.5"..??

Anyone run this system? which inlet diamter have this 3.5" cat back? is it straight threw? or any diameter changes for some silencers or so?
THX

WTF? I just received my tsudo/Sr*s exhaust from japanimportshop of ebay. Before I ordered it, they told me it was the tsudo exhaust. When I open the box, It had a Sr*s logo engraved to the tip of the exhaust. I know its the right exhaust for my car but has a different logo on it and no welds on the muffler like the Tsudo I've seen. I'll be taking pics of it later to show you.

yeah ive did that and all, im talkin bout they have like alot of brands, and like 3'', 2 1/2'', and the style such as N1 , and preferences???

id say get the 2.5" because you have the n/t and you need the back pressure, however the style is up to you i personally like the n1 style just for the way it looks but the styles shouldnt really alter performance

The piping, flanges, hangers on all of these systems are very good welds are nice overall very good for the 120-150$ you will spend. But one problem with my 3" is the muffler is actually only a 2" or so outlet which restricts. I am cutting the muffler off, using the piping and putting an HKS Carbon Ti muffler on it.

i would steer clear of ebay parts as much as possible

you can't just come in here and say that without facts supporting your statement.. you obviously have not been around long to see how there are many ebay parts that have become proven parts..

jjgrizz73, that might just be with the line you got, i don't see any restrictions like that with the ssac turboback. you sure its not the silencer? that is removable. :p

LOL please give me alittle more credit than that... its not the silencer, its the SRS exhaust. Just warning some people, I bought it thinking I was getting the Tsudo but got shipped this SRS, propbably the same company makes them both.

i agree, alot of people (cough*Mitsubishiforum.com*cough) love to screem ebay parts are bad. i think some parts are bad on there to buy, but its all about being a smart shopper and knowing what to buy and doing research. you cant listen to what people say. most of the time they are just idoits.:dsm:

i also bought the SR*S catback for a 2g AWD, it came with 2 resonators, mandrel bend, i havent install it yet, (waiting for my Punishment DP) but it looks good, came with the 3" to 2.5" cat adapter , looks good, let's see how it performs.

anyone running this system with a hf cat?

$200 shipped. ;)

I got mine 3" with the 2.5" adapter which I cut off since I have a 3" d/p with cat delete, for 150$ shipped this past summer. Like I said though the hole in the actual muffler on mine was very small compared to the 3" piping.

not many because that would mean buying hf cat, and cutting up the straight through downpipe and welding on flanges, etc. it would come close as much as the entire turboback cost LOL, but some of us HAVE to get a cat sooner or later. I have mine already, but I'm just laggin on having it installed

Have you looked into the muffler? If so, does your have a silencer collar that has 5 weld tacks on it?
