I was checking this out tonight. Is it the same as an ACT 2100? It says 30% more holding power than stock and it's like $275. It also says it is for turbo dsm's.

, I have the xtd stage 3 clutch and it works perfectly fine, its had countless violant launches and i have broken 3 axles and a center diff , but never once has this clutch slipped out shown any signs of doing so. XTD does offer a stage 4 capable of 505 ft lbs of torque IIRC and i have heard great things about those as well.
dude for $288 you should spend a little more and get a quality, proven performer.
Yeah I am that guy.... Anyway I am on the break in stage of my stage 4. I did have to install my tranny twice because I didnt not shim the pivot ball. Also I found that a extended slave rod works very well. Clutch engagement is fine and I dont notice any chatter. Pedal pressure is less that I expected however, the clutch is either in or out not much room to slip it. Should be great off the line.
eveything on ebay are knock offs....ebay=Sucky Parts
Shim the pivot ball? I just put my tranny in with a xtd stage 3. Did I forget to do something?
If your clutch works then no. My pivot ball was alittle worn and I put a washer behind it to give a longer throw on the clutch fork to help engage and dissangage the clutch correctly.
