Ebay 2gb front bumper cover?

wanted to see if anyone had ever tried the ebay 2gb front bumper and how the fitment was1997 97 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE OEM STYLE FRONT BUMPER COVER | eBay post pics if anyone has any thanks.

What do you guys use to fill the triangle ?

Most aftermarket bumpers don't have the indention for the emblem so you don't have to fill it.

Really. I've never seen an aftermarket bumper without that triangle in it. Maybe you could provide a link to a bumper without it.

No MOST HAVE THEM, if you looked closer at the on in the first post you'd see the triangle depression.

I also have an ebay bumper on my car now and I am very happy with it. Fitment is great. Mine came with the triangle indent in it, I just put an emblem in it. Another member on here got theirs from the same seller and theirs did not have the indent. Just contact the seller and see if you can get one with/without the triangle.

Just search until you find one without the triangle. I bought mine from a local company that makes them from scratch and sends them to my body shop. Theyre the EXACT same as ebay ones though.

They have OEM bumper covers, primed, for $40.00. I don't know what shipping is like though. At least you know it's a legit bumper cover, instead of some cheaply made, ebay knockoff that will not match up right.

That gap looks to be from the lack of bumper crash support. IF you don't keep it in there the bumper just kind of hangs there.

Spot on man, I forgot to slip in the styro support before putting it back on. I'll do it one of these day's now that the temperature's dropping in Florida.

Those are not oem bumpers, they are from random Chinese and Korean companies like 90 percent of the bumpers that you will find on ebay, certifit, keystone, and so on.

They look the same but you cant compare the quality. Ebay bumbers are made from some cheap plastic. Really thin compered to stock. I would rather buy a repairable used oem bumper any day.

I am as anti eBay as they come but this is a body part. It's nit a critical engine component. With that said the bumper I got off of eBay is made from a very durable plastic. I wish I could find the info on the company I bought it from cause they had a cool video of a guy jumping up and down on the bumper. It was flexing but it didn't break. I would say based on owning both the oem and aftermarket bumpers that the aftermarket one (that I have) is made from a much higher quality plastic.

I have had 2 ebay bumpers over the past few years. They were both very durable and never gave me any fitment problems. They're also a whole lot less toxic when it comes to trimming them for a fmic. If anyone has ever used a cut off wheel to cut an oe bumper, you know what I'm talking about. I just recently removed my 2gb eclipse ebay bumper because I found a 2gb talon front and rear in a junkyard for $40. Who could pass that up?

I apologize for dredging up an old thread. It appears that everyone is fairly happy with their ebay bumpers. I'm wondering if anyone has purchased a prepainted one from ebay? They are $240.00 shipped. I haven't contacted any paint shops, any ideas what it could run to paint a primered one? Wonder if paying the extra approx. $160.00 for a prepainted one is worth it.

I purchased one (black) and it is well worth it. Paint came out beautiful and fitment was right on.
