Will eagle rods fit on the 420a engine? Sort of a newb sorry if this is a dumb question I could not find anything else like this on the forum. Link me if I missed something.

If you get eagle rods for the 420a, yes they will fit. Go to Eagle Specialty Products, Inc. - Home and search for your application.

If you are going to turbo your car aftermarket rods and pistons will help your shortblock handle more power.

You will see basically zero improvement over stock. They are put in your engine to help handle more power.

Sorry for the double post and i was planning to stay NA and do a high comp piston. And get a megasquirt ecu for tuning.

You have to remember pistons/rods don't 'MAKE' power, they can handle more power and make you reliable so you don't break.
Reliability in the bottom end.
Horsepower can be found in the head.
This is the easy way to look at it.

If you wanna make power N/A get some high comp pistons a bigger throttle body headers do some work on the head throw in some cams and get that megasquirt to make some ponies.....

If not sure what to do just ask the N/A 420a master..... aka bullet
