1G eagle crank overkill?

I am looking for 400hp,and be pushing atleast 20 psi. My oem crank is ok,but i wanted to get an eagle crank and was wondering if eagle is a little overkill for my hp goals? I want to have something in there i know can take a little bit of abuse.

Then stick with the stock crank. They have been pushed further than 400hp more time than I can count. Heck, most people with fast cars still have the stock crank. I don't know hardly anyone running an aftermarket crank, let alone someone putting down some serious numbers.

Stock crank will meet and exceed your goals.

Stock crank will be more than good enough for your goals, there are 1,000whp DSM's running stock cranks.

A completely stock shortblock 6-bolt or even a 7-bolt will be able to handle your goal.

I'm learning how to tune with dsmlink and just in case i make some mistakes i wanted to make sure the crank can handle it.

+1 on the stock crank. Why spend $700 when you dont need to.

Crank can, but will the rods and pistons? Sure they can take a beating, but not as much as aftermarket. Mine have taken a nasty beating, so they should be good and my car has 150k miles. All cars are different, and depending on how and what the car's tune is.
