EA Hates DSM's. Protest the new Need For Speed!

While LaserSpeedDemon has a valid point that advertising your name on the internet is not the brightest of ideas, there really isn't much to need to fear in this case. It's not like EA is going to send out death squads or hash up a virus for all the DSMtuner members on this list.

All of our names are already out in cyberspace and you're vulnerable to ID theft everyday of your life. You can take all the precautions that you want, but if someone wants your identity badly enough, they'll get it.

Should you live in fear of the internet? No, obviously not. But being cautious and handling your personal information with some thought is an intelligent choice.

I will totally agree with you but at the same time, LaserSpeedDemon has a very good point. I would not wish any potential identity theft issues to come across any fellow DSMer for any reason. Until a time when names ever become a necessity, I will not ask for them.

I liked the nfs games the new one does look lame, but i dont think they hate 2gs, point being that they have had 2gs in previous games and in all of them it was a competitive car with all the others. Anyone who has played nfs or for the most part any racing game knows that the more expensive newer cars are always faster/"cooler." Im fairly sure the reason why EA choose that car because A: its an old car B:for stock it WAS FAST IN ITS DAY, as to show it being out dated C:the whole fast and furious movies didnt really help D: The car looks old and the paint/body weren't perfect...and did you notice that they made sure you could hear everything when the car was backing up..? 2GS ARE OLD CARS!!! doesn't mean i like them any less but for a game that is aimed for a younger generation, cars in the game have to be as new and hip as poosible!

In the end its just an ad..for a game that to me seems like no one here will play...

Unfortunetlly and some what realistically i highly highly HIGHLY doubt EA will do anything if they even notice this thread. What do you want them to do anyways? "Sorry we made fun of the car you guys like."? Granted if you do get enough people and they do notice and the do actually do something more power to you, but you can just go hunt down anyone who says bad against dsms! but what you could do, which i think would be more effective is post a video on youtube, same setup but with a sick 2g and then after the 2g leaves have the two guy sadly walk to their pos honda or mustang or something. Then other people besides ones on the forums can see it AND if it gets enough views it has a better chance of being noticed..IMO
