Alright so I have 1996 eclipse gsx tuned on e85 and when the car is warming up for about 5 mins it has smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe and then goes away after 5 mins is that normal for e85 gas?

No, it's not normal for e85, but it is quite common with worn valve stem seals.

No, e85 should not make the car smoke. The color of the smoke is needed to help you further though. Generally speaking, blue smoke is oil, black is fuel and white is coolant.

Since it's warming up is it just possible to be condensation? It sounds though as it came with the switch to e85, but maybe he only just noticed cause he switched. You know what I mean? Like when u do a mod u get in hat mind state of I did something something is going to be better/worse and you become more "aware" and notice little things like that thinking it's a side effect of what you just did.

I would say its condensation. Regaurdless of the type of fuel theres is still going to be moisture in the exhaust on startup. Just my .02 cents.

With-out the OP answering the 3rd post their really isn't any reason to post...Aside from explaining what the different colors are...
otherwise it's all speculation of what his car is doing... .

Black smoke = Fuel
Blue smoke = Oil
White smoke = Coolant/Water

It's light gray smoke but it doesn't smoke for a long period of time. And it smokes after a hard pull

It's completely normal especially As long as it doesn't smell like oil burning. Mine does that at idle every time the temp is below 60 outside. If you have a cat-less exhaust then that will make it worse. That's all it is, is steam from condensation inside your exhaust

Alright cool thanks guys and yeah it's about 40 degrees here and I don't have a catalic converter

It's moisture in the exhaust, on start up you'll see water droplets launching out of your muffler.
