well first your going to need to go to home depot, buy every package of corn seeds you can, along with a tiller, some shovels, and some fertilizer and soil.
Completely mudilate your backyard until there no grass, and nothing but finley tilled dirt. Plant your seeds in dirt rows, water regularly, and wait for the corn to grow into nice healthy stocks. Wha la! e85 :thumb:

it isn't THAT easy... you still need to distill it!!! Silly guy!! :p

Wow.......just wow. If you cant find e85 near where you live then dont bother unless you wanna take a couple 55 gallon drums and fill them up a few towns over and take them back home.

How long does e85 last in a drum? I have a station kinda close. Bout 12 miles from my house. But thinking it would be easier to keep a drum in the garage for easy fill up.

12miles is nothing... It won't per say "Go Bad".
But, E85 is hygroscopic if you store a large amount of it I would hope your going threw it quickly... you may or may not enconter problems depending on how it is being stored.

Ya 12 isn't bad but still would be more convenient at my garage. It would be stored in the garage in a sealed drum. When needed I would put a hand pump on and fill her up. I usually fill up pump gas bout every week and a half. I am assuming a little more fill ups on e85. So 55 gallon drum would last bout a month or more. Also doesn't it separate? and would it be wise to add some e85 approved stabil product?

No Phase separation isn't a problem with E85 unless you have some huge amount of water in it like over 20%... .

Now regular gasohol these days like E10-E20 YES it's becoming a much larger problem...Most people that have Boats these day get Gas that pure GAS because of this, once you get up to a larger blend I don't recall exactly the blend I believe it's around 40% ethanol you will no longer have problems with Phase separation(unless you dump a gallon a water in or something LOL) But in any event even if it's not separating you don't obviously want water in your fuel...

Honestly, that's going to depend on the environment it's in and I can't truly answer that...

If it helps at all I've had the same tank on E85 for more then a month or so at least (the Talon's not really a DD anymore). Never had any issues an this is in the Moisture rich PNW LOL, Although I still stared the car at least every few days... an I would rather not do that (leave it parked that long)...

I've had the same tank of e85 for a month already also. I'm wondering how long it will last till it goes bad as well. I'm hoping not soon. As I rarely drive the car. Mostly to the track only.

Honestly, munkey, you should probably be able to store it in a drum for a coupke months considering you live in phoenix and the humidity there is almost nothing so water in the fuel shouldnt be an issue. Damn i miss that warm dry weather LOL.

If you do live in a a humid climate just bring the empty space in the container to a vacuum and seal it up. Even perfectly sealed it will lose vacuum over time, but just due to vapors from the fuel itself, not from air getting in.
