Yea the will get my business. :notgood:

Steven

Umm....ok. so then were do all you go? Maybe i can get a better deal on parts.:talon:

Mac Autosports, hands down best shop I have been too, I will always do buisness with them.

I will check them out but if they cant beat Trenz's prices then i'lll probaly stay with them, seeing as how I get a discount every time I go there.:talon:

Right. Well most of us buy parts from real dsm vendors. No one cars about a discount or name brand. At least not most of us in colorado. We generally care about parts that work and that have been developed by other dsmer's. Only thing name brand on our race car is the blow off valve. Everything else is all parts from small vendors or little companies that are well known for their quality products.

Greddy parts are mad tight yo.

Steven

Well i buy name brand stuff because I have found out that it dont break under pressure like the cheap crap.:talon:

Mac's suck, they dont even know how to strap a car down to the dyno, a guy i met said they straped his car down using the rear swaybar knowing that it was broke and it flew off the dyno. evertbody thinks Mac is the best :nono: , well they will never get my money:notgood: . Trenz is the only shop that will get my $$$$:thumb:

Do you believe everything you hear?

I seriously doubt or better don't believe for a minute that the guys at MAC would strap a car down using it's sway bar.

You're better off spending your money on parts purchased from shops who actually have some real performance related experience with DSM's.

Well maybe you guys are right and maybe not, anyways like I said befor Trenz never did me wrong and thats the shop that I'm sticking with. I dont dought Hal because I know he knows his DSM's but I've allways went to Trenz and they allways hook me up. Each in to his own i gess.

I've never heard of any one coming off macs dyno, not that it couldnt happen.

They have always tied my car down very securely with 6 straps. I've never given their tiedowns a second thought... unlike some other shops I have used.

Hal just told you. And I agree with him. MAC is the only place I go. They have always been very nice and respectful to me. A+ for MAC

There is no way mac could of pulled something retarted like that, these guys know thier stuff, end of story. those guys are so cool, they even show me around to some of thier project cars and told me alot of about thier nissans and setups, it was very cool.

Welcome back Hal. :thumb:

I've only been to MAC a couple of times, once to dyno and once to get my car tech'd for a NASA track day. My dyno session with them was pretty smooth and I can say I was confident in their ability to know how to tie a car down.

I don't know that I'd put too much weight into what some "guy you met" said. Most dyno shops know better than to tie a car down by the swaybar.

How much does Mac charge for there dyno for three runs? And to tune my SAFC? :talon:

for a 45 minute tune if you know how, is 67 bucks for almost the entire hour of unlimited pulls up till that point.

So it is 67 for them to tune it and about a hour of run time? I'm not sure how to tune it myself yet and I dont want to blow anything up.:talon:
