Please update because my rear bumper is doing it. It went from the size of a pea to bigger than my hand in 2 months. I wash my car every week and its garaged.

Obviously its not somethin that can be patch painted... the whole car would need to be done
My question is still... has anyone gone through this with their 2g 'clipse and takenit to the dealer about it?
...My friend that I mentioned in the original post DID have Mitsu repaint the car becuase it was a faulty clearcoat from the factory. They checked it by the VIN.
. But if you can be persistant and play the "games", and they do play games... it could happen

.
only thing that isn't funny is it must be contagious haha my 1995 TSi AWD is now getting it on the hood and front bumper. (maybe the hood and bumper had been swapped with a '97 at some point) Must have been on the roof and hatch of my 95 before too though. I noticed drips in the paint near the A pillar area of the exterior and on the hatch, like the previous owner spray painted it, but it's not that noticeable.
