dummy light came on today!

was headed to work this morning and i heard a click under the dash and there that light was so i pulled out my scanner after i got home and heres what it says

well thats what my scanner told me so far i have no idea why the light popped on that code because before it was on there but never popped the light but that was like a month ago

Check your gas cap. Make sure it's tight. Check the seal on it. Replace it if it's dried out. After that if still on check the lines from the tank to the purge valve and to evap can. Check canister for cracks as well.

forgot about the gas cap thing ima reset it and tighten the cap and go for a drive and then if its still on i will update back

well i reset it without touching the gas cap and did a test drive for about 20 minutes no codes are showing now so idk what it was that set it off

The evap system only gets tested after around 100 miles so be warned.
