Haha. 4g64 turboed can be a freakin' beast dude, they have nice torque curves for an NA 4 banger.
For the longest time I thought the Laser was a K-Mart tuner car or something, but I never made it my priority to spread my ignorance to others, especially not to random people in traffic. I guess some people are just a different breed. (Read: Stupid)

I just bought my exhaust manifold from FP and I had a couple people over. I picked it up to take it into the garage and one of them was like, "Dude, is that a cold air intake?"

I was honestly speechless. I didn't even say anything, I just shook my head and continued to the garage.

I used to live up in North PHX. I think I have lived everywhere around phoenix haha. Yeah the heat is getting pretty bad right about now... We are around 110ish lately...

I'm actually interested to see what a 2g hatchback would look like haha. It would really weird me out if I saw one.

Man I remember it was so ridiculous just stepping into your car after sitting in the parking lot for an hour, like you couldn't even breathe without rolling down the windows. People would also park way far away just to get that one little tree shade, here its the opposite everyone parks as close they can to the entrance. But the nights cruising around the city were pretty awesome. I had a lot more fun there than I did here

I know. I have a friend that owns his own window tinting company and he is going to tint all of my windows and my hatch window 1 shade beyond legal. Then he is going to replace my windshield and tint that too. His car barely gets warm in the sun, it's amazing. And since the windows are so dark the cops can't tell there is anything on the windshield

He's had his that way for years and has never been given a ticket.

I come outside work today to find a coworker and her date for the night: A dude with a bright green civic and half primed hood (like he ran out of green paint half way through). Thinking nothing of it, I walk to my car, start it up and smoke a cig while it warms up. I here this dude yell:

"You wanna race that little Mitsubishi?" (Right, because my 3300lb 2.4L Spyder is small compared to a Civic)
"Nah, it's just the daily driver. What do you have in your Civic?"
"Fully built GSR engine. I pull on Mustangs, Corvettes, everything."
"Boosted?"
"Hell no, 12:1 compression."

The rest of the convo isn't even worthy of noting. But apparently my goal of 400WHP on the Talon is pretty slow. Even compared to an NA 1.8l Civic. Fcuk I hate my job and the people I work with.

I rode in the S2000 last week and its impressive around 200hp 2.0L but 250 tops would be generally about it for N/A hondas especially 1.8l if I'm correct

Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I've seen those GSR engines really get up and move. But not in a street driven, full weight, obviously half-assed Civic that get's the majority of it's parts from Oreilly's. The dude was bragging about 5K in receipts from my store.

What's really funny though is his date (my coworker) recently told me I was "retarded" for thinking my Turbocharged 2.0 was making over 200hp. Yet she hangs with a guy who thinks his NA 1.8 makes more than a Corvette?
