I recently had one from a honda guy about DSMs.

I met an old friend's new boyfriend. The past few guys she dated were morons so i wasn't expecting any different.

To my dismay, i'm starting to like this guy when he asks about my car. I give him a little info and he responds:

"Nice, you should swap a B16 in it".

I laugh...hard, thinking to myself "I really like this guy, he's funny shit".

Then i realize he's completely serious...

I have to be nice to him to keep the peace, so i ask why i should do that.

He tells me that smaller engines have more compression, and rev higher, so i would make a lot more power.

I quickly changed the subject.

Him: Ya but when you put parts that arnt made in the US, its an import

And he also informed me that A V8 diesel has 6 spark plugs, and i told him he was stupid because diesels only have glow plugs. and he informed me that im a dumbass and that i dont know anything... ive only worked on a farm fixing tractors since the age of 13.. (4.5 years) and im goin to school for diesel mechanics..

i havent had my talon for longs so not really much has been said to me but i was at a gas station and i reved it a few times and some kids in a cavalier where like "yo that shits hot what year is it
' and i say 96 and he says"that shits dope do you wanna race
' and i said i cant( the car wasnt on the road at the time kinda risked it driving to get gas) and the he said dam and then they did a shitty ass burnout and drove away.

ohh and another time last summer i had a 88 supra red tagra top 5speed non turbo but the car was cool and people always asked if it was turbo and when i said no that would say"oh" i felt like i was letting them down haha but this one time i was at a dunkin donuts and i had my hood up and this kid comes over and says nice supra and i say thanks and then he aske is it turbo and i was already pissed about the battery cable breaking and i say do you see a turbo? and he kinda goes to answer and i point out where it would be if it was there and he says i know and then i look at him like then why the hell did you ask? and he walked away hahaha it was funny.

Sorry it is really a DSMer statement. Most guys here know I am new to the DSM scene. I just got my eclipse running so I was out driving it. These Honda civic kids pulled next to me at red light.

Not really a conversation but long before I got my gst, me and some friends were out riding bikes and a rs eclipse pulls up beside us rolls down his window. Starts saying hes got a c note his eclipse will spank my bike and revs the pee out of his car. Now at that time I had a 05 636 ninja with every power adder they make, so I just started laughing and reved it to 13k, he rolled his window up and drove like an old lady when the light turned.

Boost fluid FTW "You can add in a different coolant and it'll give it like 8 pounds of boost". I was relieved that it was all staged, I had a list going here.

"Dyno results are worthless if not backed by ET" ??? WTF While certain 1/4 results are important. ET has as much to do with driver and suspension and traction as it does with power. MPH with a known weight is the real varification of a dyno sheet. Some folks just don't think about what they are saying. Or really don't have any experience in the topic discussed.

The kid is always revving the piss outta the car and all he has done is a downpipe going back to stock muffler. Don't ask me why he did this. So I decide to embarass him in front of the crowd that night. I walk up to his car...

Not a dsmer but kid's I go to school with believe there is no way my car will go over 120mph because one of them's mom has a audi a4 and it wont go past 120mph. ANother thing is I guess 4x4 and awd are the same thin just awd is full time haha. Also I guess a 2006 dodge hemi 5.7l quad cab will blow my car away on a non icey dya on a dry road when its sunny. Haha I asked why so dry they said "Because your car's awd it would destroy his truck in the snow". Little do they know but also on dry tar haha.
