Well, I dont disagree that a busa would have more torque, its basically twice the displacement, in fact arent they 1300cc? Thats more than twice! . My experience though was it was a lot more linear power unlike the 600. Me on my r6 it'll lift the front wheel at the top of first and into second and be just over 100, my buddys busa I got on it in first and second and it "felt" slower but I looked down and was HOLY SHIT!

So Im not a man because Im short as crap and car reach the ground on anything besides my lowered and seat carved r6? I did however ride my buddys busa and I fit better on that than I do my r6. And yes, it is ####ing stupid fast... Not so much torque as you'd expect. Thats what I like about my bike, so much more torquey

Well, there are exceptions to my statement. Just my opinion on bikes. Personally I outgrew my 02 GSX-R 750 in about 3-4 months, but I did take it to Sebring International Raceway and rode it pretty hard on the club course, on my 750 and my buddies then new 10 R1, and there was a noticeable difference in the power to me. I could stay in gear longer and the sweet spot seemed to always be there. As opposed to the 750, it was as stated before, more peaky, and required much more effort to keep up with the gears in corners and not to mention the exit-corner shifts... not fun. Only time I came close to dropping my bike. Aprilla makes one hell of a bike too, but I would LOVE to have that new Bimmer bike over any other bike on the market.

I was at the junkyard today helping a buddy find some stuff for his car, and as we were walking out, I hear this guy saying something about looking for eclipses in the yard and having an eagle talon. As we were walking, I said hey, what are you looking for for the eclipse? He says he has a talon and is looking for a valve cover. I say oh yeah they crack and stuff you probably won't find one here and he goes on to say he has the turbo talon. I tell him I have a talon as well and he asks if it's turboed from the factory and I say yeah it is turbo. He's like Ohhh man nice running 3 lbs??!?? I was like uhhmm excuse me? I told him I was running an evo turbo (as he would not have known what a 16g is) and said I had injectors and a front mount (as an example) and he gets all excited and says I should put videos of it on Youtube because that is what he is doing of his talon turbo from the factory with 3 psi of boost. I get into my buddy's car in shame and think back to the thread about why people hate on dsms. I think to myself this is why people bash on dsms, because they see people like this, with 6 teeth missing, no intellectual capabilities and just plain stupidity, driving around and acting like their car is something worth worshiping. I mean come on. By the way this guy sounded, talked, looked, and dressed, you could tell he most likely had a hard time graduating high school, if he even did. I hate when the community gets represented by people like this. I know I am not the most knowledgeable on our cars, or have the best grammar or typing on here right now, but it really bothers the crap out of me meeting people like this.
