dual tial bov question, need some advice quick!

im going to be getting a second tial bov tomorrow. my current one has a non colored spring which is i beleive an 11 psi spring. its kinda harsh and has trouble opening at low boost. i want to do a 7 psi spring, my question is, can you run 2 bov's with different springs? if i keep this 11 psi spring, and get another one with a 7 psi spring will it run ok? also if i change the spring(s) in the bov will it change the boost level?

i understand the concept of the diaphragm, i just wasnt sure if it was supposed to be like this, its almost like folded over in two places.

Do you have any pictures of the diaphragm? I thought I've seen them for sale before as a replacement part but now I can't seem to find it.

Does the diaphragm leak when you do a boost leak test?

If I may.....I would recommend fixing the diaphragm in your bov first and swapping the spring to a 7psi one. Then, once you get that setup running properly, go ahead and add the second bov.
 
i've tested it to 20psi and havent heard any leaks. its not ripped or anything, just kinda strange how its pinched. if my digi wasn't dead i'd take a pic of it

Did you use soapy water to help identify leaks? Even though you don't hear it leaking, it still may be.

Hm, I think you ruined your chances of help from various sources of knowledge.

No it's ok. I wrote that before I saw he is running a GT35R, AEM, 1600 injectors. But one thing you should realize is it's not just throwing big parts at the car that makes it fast. It's careful planning, design, and execution to include a good tune that makes it fast. Believe you-me, I've outrun cars with turbos far bigger then my small 16g because I am better at those 3 steps.

For example, it seems you went a little on the big size with those injectors. Step 1) Planning: How much power do I want? How fast do I want to go? Where am I going to race?

In my case, I chose 550cc injectors because I want to run between 375 and 425 AWHP because my car is setup for RallyX not big power.
 
i hear ya, im all about tuning, car was just tuned 2 weeks ago for big boost on pump gas. planning on doing a bigger set up over the winter but it screws good now.

i didnt try the soapy water yet, but i will do that.

In laserspeedemons default, how did your car get that awesomely dirty and the front plate stay clean? haha
After mud diving, I cleaned the front and rear plate, windows and tail lights. In order to be compliant with obstruction laws in VA.

Back on topic. If you want big boost on pump gas. I highly suggest meth injection. 35-38 psi is common with meth injection on pump gas OR convert to E85.
