You guys can still get in there, just not with the www.dsmtalk.com link. You need to use www.autoforums.com then go to mitsubishi link. Everything is still working.

www.dsmtalk.com is working for me. And it brings me to the old site. With search working, old graphics, old ads, good speed server. Also my posts on dsmtalk are NOT appearing on the autoforum site; or vice versa.

try using firefox rather than IE.

DSMtalk is no more and I know a lot of us do not like the other alternatives out there.
Well I had some server space and bandwidth available so here you guys (and gals) go, a new form to use now that DSMtalk is no more.

On the local phil dsm forum one of the moderators (colonelfox) said he was given no warning and many poeple there are having trouble getting onto the main dsm site; just like here.

however it is NOT back for everyone. Also there is no reason to believe that it will stay back. We need to find a valid solution to backup all the data.

I began my dsm life on the digest then that site in December of 2000, that's about 5 1/2 years over there. Over 3000 posts, and countless friends later it's terribly sad to see a good site die this way. I personally will be refraining from buying any "Modified" merchandise until the site is returned to its original state. If that never happens, I'm ok with that, but those rat bastards will never get my assistance in making that site what it once was or one single cent of mine in their pocket. In fact I hope I run into the asshat that runs Modified at the next SEMA show.

I would really just appreciate it if a moderator from Talk that has a membership here, could post and give any information on the subject. I'd just like to know if there was any notification prior for them or not. I'm guessing the answer is "no" though. This is the first DSM enthusiast site I registered under, and then I found Talk. Both are great sites. The only reason I was over there more was that it seemed there was a bigger number of people who were a little more patient on explaining things. There were less noobs and noob questions, but that is to be expected anywhere.

Greenstreak(from DSMTalk), are you out there?!

There was no notification given to us prior to the change unfortunately. Mods/Admins did not know anymore than any other members did.
This move will hurt the DSM community as a whole, not just people who liked Talk. Having two huge sites dedicated to a relitively small group of one car was great for advancement in their performance over the years. I don't see that same level continuing under AF.
