looks like they merged with autoforums.com, even though I noticed that the domain dsmtalk.com is on registrar lock till 2009. Though they state it is for improved features and quicker servers, that does not seem to be the case. I played on there and it seemed slower than the old DSMtalk servers and it is really not user friendly. I fear they may loose there following. As I use to be on Talk on the regular I may no longer visit under the new format.

I never really visited talk just becuase of the way it was previously set up. Now its just really messed up. Very not user friendly like Arctic Tsi wrote.

Yea I also was a regular DSMtalker. I basically lived there and this is serious BS. I wont be frequenting this new garbage forum at all, horrible layout, doesn't seem to have maintianed any of the tech stuff that was always the flagship of DSMtalk.com in the past. Screw this. Looks like DSMtooners will be seeing alot more of thier DSMtalk counterparts like me in the future.

Somehow I don't think money is going to do it. If you browse around the rest of the sites, it looks like Modified (the ever enterprising magazine company) bought whatever forums they could get their hands on. I'm sure they're just trying to increase traffic and generate more sales for their publications, but the site layout seriously sucks, and it'll backfire. There isn't even a damn search button.

Anyway, it looks like its time for us to find a new home. There are going to be a lot of refugees moving about.

yea i have a feeling most of us dmstalkers will prob just end up here. that new site is so confusing and dificult to move around. the worst part is that now you have kids with honduhs and nissans giving advice on what to do, like stated over there.......this is retarted....i guess thats what happens when you live in the world of money......
