DSMtalk?

It seems to be back to normal for now, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I have DSMTalk opened in another browser as I'm typing this and it seems to be working

I think what JDNSBR means that this site is different than DSMTalk.

I was a member of DSMTalk for about 3 months, got tired of the constant bitching between members. That won't happen here which is why I switched from DSMtalk to DSMTuners. I support the moderators of DSMTuners 100% with what they do.

Honestly, leave the DSMTalk bullshit on DSMTalk, don't bring it to DSMTuners. That's what I'm saying.

nobody knows, how long dsmtalk is up now. it's the chance for all of you to backup the most important threads on your pc before it's down again. it's the only thing everybody can do. bitching around how sad it is, doesn't help you.

First of all, we would like to apologize to all of the DSMtalk.com
community.

Over the weekend, we planned to migrate many sites into the AutoForums.com
platform. This was a poorly thought-out plan, and one which caused some
obvious confusion, and a number of upset members.

Our number one goal in taking the reigns for DSMtalk.com was to build the
community. We have adjusted our strategy, and realized the best way to do
this is through its existing platform, users, moderators and administrators.
All future changes will be brought forward from this group - the mods and
admins.

We have returned DSMtalk.com to its original structure and will be working
with the mods and admins moving forward. They will be the ones to lead
changes that are requested by the userbase. We will be a silent partner in
your community.

We are an enthusiast company - we all love cars as much as you do. It was a
painful experience this weekend, and you have my word personally that you
will not have to endure this again. This is your community, and we
appreciate your loyalty.

Let's write this weekend off to a 'bad experience' and start fresh this week
with continuing to make DSMtalk.com the best that it can be within its
current platform.

Everyone calm the hell down. I was just a surprised as anyone to see talk go the way it went. I started there and have been a member since 01.

Rest assured DSMTuners is not selling out to these fools and even if we did we would give our members an advanced warning so that they can get something up and running.

Since dsmtalk is back up this thread is closed.

P.S. Some of the same people posting in this thread also posted in a talk thread bashing this site and saying they would never come here.

Way to be two-faced. :thumbsup:
