hey guys i was just wondering exactly what i need to get to run dsmlink in my 1998 gst spyder

1. Socketed '95 EPROM ECU or convert '96/'97 ECU to EPROM
2. Either ECMlink full or ECMlink lite

sweet thank you now would i need to change any pins to run a 95 ecu and will i still keep my top function

The ECU should have no affect on whether the spyder top works or not. I've never read of anyone having such an issue.

every spider I've seen the motor has given up on the top... take the motor out just do it by hand and save some weight

I know with my 98 once I installed the link with a eprom the only thing you need to do is also switch the plug wires.. dont forget to do that as well or the car wont start and run..

yeah never heard of switching any pins either, just the ecu then the plugs

i'm sorry this is what i meant by changing the pins,I meant to say plugs.Please tell me what plugs to change and how.. Thank you.

You can email. ecmlink about you questions about their product. they answer quickly. also surf their site alittle bit , there is tons of information about ecmlink onthe site as well as videos. follow the advise from some with experience.
