Hey all! Started up my car to drive to work yesterday and it totally wouldn't run.

Further investigation found the fuel, MAF, and some other settings in my DSMLink were totally wrong. It looks like the main settings reverted to where they were when I bought the ECU from someone using it on a totally different car and the direct access settings are still the same.

How did I do that?

I did find the battery dead and need to charge it-- Is there a special long term power-off memory that might have kept the old settings?

I found some docs saying that changing settings while the battery is low can have some odd results, the ECU might reset at an inconvenient time so some settings don't save. Not sure how it reverted to setting that are several months and tuning cycles old, though...

Got any pictures of the tabs on ECMLINK that were on your car? Have you logged anything at all with your tune recently? If so, pull it up (the old file) and copy and paste every table or COPY ALL TO ECU should get you back to square one. Just a tip that I hope will work. 👍

Glad to be of help.
