I just purchased Dsmlink v2.5 (using v3 software) and i've been doing a lot of reading on how to dial in idle. After trying to reduce my Mafcomp it didn't lower my airflowperrev and my combinedFT never changes from zero. Let me know what all else you need to know, thanks. -Matt

That is a very well written and in depth way to fix idle surge and I will have to check out my ISC but I can't figure out why my combinedFT isn't reading anything. Any ideas?

So is my O2 sensor bad or is something just causing it to not cycle? Would that explain my combinedFT?

So I used to have a CEL light on but once I put my new eprom ecu in it went away. My O2 sensor finally starts to cycle in this log but it's way off and my combinedFT starts to show something which is a good sign. But still once i try to use MafComp to adjust airflowperrev it won't drop it low enough.

I actually added it right before you posted that comment. I've literally watched that video over 5 times now but if you read above when i try to dial in my airflowperrev by lowering my MafComp it won't go below .30 gm/rev.

Another problem I have is that I can't find how to change the settings to a GM MAF or GM MAF-T, it will only let me pick from 1g, 1g hacked, 2g, 2g hacked, 3g, or evo.

I will be switching over to SD soon but for now should i keep my maf translator zero'd out or should I keep the base tune that is on it?

Ok so my car seems to have a funny time entering closed loop mode but once it does it will stay for the most part. The O2 sensor is cycling at a slow rate and i can't get my airflowperrev down near .25 no matter what i do.

I just need to pass emissions, does anyone recommend any adjustments?
