I noticed that when doing a run on my car that the dsmlink has a chart for hp and torque. My question is how accurate if at all these numbers and how does it calculate these numbers?

They are calculated by from acceleration, drivetrain loss %, drag, weight, tire size, etc. If you want to know exactly, I'm sure it's posted somewhere on the Link forums. For some reason the HP and TQ numbers have never been too accurate.

I dotn think they are accurate b/c it said i had 553hp on a few occations. Haven't had it to the dyno but highly doubt it had that much at that time. It had a t3/t4 57 trimm on it at that point and time. Now i've got the PTE PT67 on it. Fixing a few electrical problems adn then off to the dyno it goes.

I heard that you can make a run on the Dyno and then enter those exact numbers into the DSMLink and then it will be alot more accurate.

I'm curious as to how that could be done because the only thing that you can imput is your tire size, weight and drivetrain loss. Maybe that is a new feature that is being developed?
