I just received my dsmlink came with the cable and cd, which I had purchased used. The only thing is I don't have the adapter and I didn't know if there was anywhere to get this. The people there told me they don't sell those because of counterfits floating around. I have the registration coade and cd it's just that I don't have the adapter. And the guy that I purchased it from said that he sold the peice to someone else.

Have you tried your one piece cable with dsmlink, does it work? I've never heard of them having a 1 piece setup, has anybody else? I know pocket logger is one piece...

heh, it came from the creators of DSMLink Tom and Dave, so it better work. and of course it does. LOL. I paid my money for it, I better get a working product. I did my research unlike some people and even found a few ppl selling it $100-$200 cheaper, but I didn't take that chance, cause everytime I found it, it seemed too good to be true. So I bought a 95 GSX EProm and bought dsmlink...$870 total for the whole upgrade *sigh*.... but I still think it's worth it...

Do you have V1 or V2? Maybe like steve thought, they were origionally a 1 piece cable/adapter. I've only had my dsm for 1 1/2 so didn't know about dsmlink before that, & since then they've always atleast advertised the 2 piece. Maybe they converted an old V1 into the V2 & thats how you ended up with a 1 piece?

Just for curiousity sake, could you take a pic of the cable? Your car wasn't EPROM to begin with? That's weird I've only heard of the late, late 95's not being EPROM.

My GST sucks. I swear it was a GS in a previous life. I'm the 4th owner, its got all the characteristics of a GS but its got a turbo.

its the 2.0L, no sun roof, no leather (till i swapped it), and the only things that make it look turbo is the grey trim and rims, and cd changer.

and it was made late in July of 95. Also I don't have a camera, so sorry.

Then it is a very late 95. I am surprised that it's not a 96 being made that late in the year.
