"If you build it they will come"!!! I believe it would catch on and be pretty successful. For many the initial or "base" tune is well worth paying for.

I dont see chips ever becoming popular again. Way to many options for both 1g and 2g's now. I mean both gens can "real time"/flash for free basically as it is.

Your also 1g, you have like 100 better options then sending out for a reflash.

Is there any kind of time frame for the new products? I'm currently working on my build and have been looking to buy a tactrix cable and go with Ceddy Mods but if the options for the flashable ecu's are expected to be released soon, I would be interested in purchasing. What was described previously seems pretty nice.

ECM Link seems like some great software but if you have to buy a eprom ecu or get a non-eprom ecu converted it really raises the price on top of the $375 for the software.

Definitely not. Especially not for anything flash based. We don't even know if the market is feasible, so a "new product" for the flash-based ECUs isn't even really being considered right now. Definitely don't hold up your plans waiting for us on that.
