Ok i bought a dsmchips stage 3 ecu a few months ago and it is great. but last week my car started to get a random misfire and my boost gauge is working normally again. is it possible for the chip to mess up? or what else would cause this?

I don't think that a misfire has anything to do with the chip u bought ...start by checking all ignition components including the power transistor over time those get weak..i had a misfire last summer and it end up being the sparkplug wires were shot ...hope this helps..

Check to make sure that the knock sensor is connected correctly. Mine wasnt and the boost gauge seemed to act like normal, pluged it back in and it became a knock gauge again. WTF

ok i just did a headgasket and cams like 2 weeks ago, but i thought i plugged all my sensors back in ill have to go over it again. thanks for the help
