DSMchip 2G MAS with GM MAF

I would assume this would work, but I've never used a chipped eprom only dsmlink. Its a 1g eprom chip burned for a 2g MAS, I am running a GM MAF with a GEN 2 Translator. Would I set the output for the GEN 2 to a 2g MAS since thats what the chip is burned for?

yes if the chip is expecting to find a 2G MAF then that is what it should be set to otherwise you will have to make a bunch on adjustments to get the fueling correct... i used a GEN2 on my eclipse and basically did the same thing only i made the adjustments for injectors.. i had EVO8 injectors and a MG MAF in my 2G and had the fueling adjustments all jacked around to get the trims correct because i had the MAFT set to output a 2G MAF, then i tried changing the output to EVO8 and ended up zeroing everything out with the exception of a couple of minor corrections.
