hehe, i have enuf mileage to have gone thru the first odometer......changed the inst cluster at 145k (the cluster was fubar'd) and swapped it with a new one with 46k on it. now that odometer sayd 56k, so i am about 155k. as far as i know (before me) car has gone thru 1 engine and 1 tranny.

134,xxx and no problems on my 95 7-bolt when I got it rebuilt due to my ac belt getting caught in the timing belt, now I've got like 137,xxx

Hello, I am thinking about purchasing a car with 109,000 Miles, mostly highway. My question is, how much longer will the car run strong and reliably before it really starts to crap out? The car in mind has a 14b turbo w/ 5000 miles, ACT 2600 Clutch, and Walbro 250 fuel pump.

have it checked over for simple things, timing belt, rest of the belts. water pump. my starter just went out at 118k. it's got a new clutch so your fine there and a new turbo, so ur fine there. check for maitance records and it sounds like it might be alright.

yes i wondering if someone could tell me what to check on a 1991 eagle talon tsi awd with 122,000 miles and also if someone could tell me how much the wheel alignment will be on a awd vehicle?

Alignment should be like 40-50 bucks. You need to do the timing belt, acc. belts, water pump, plugs/wires(check them first) and the basic maintenance stuff you do anyway.

I got mine with 125k on it for 2500. The compresion was 150 all 4 clyinders. The only problems i have had with it was snaping 3 rear axles and i just had my 2nd T case lock up on me and almost kill me.

hey i was reading this and noticed out of about 55 people only 1 got CW? so maybe the ratio for getting crankwalk is like 1 out of 50 DSMs? Which isnt too bad. But like the other guy said like a plane crashing it doesnt happen that often but you hear about everyone that does get it.
