no this tread isn't about crankwalk. I compare the crankwalk phenomenon to a jet crashing, it dosen't happen that often you just hear about every one that does

Do you still have the magic box ontop of the motor? If you remove that, the elves no longer hold the pistons on the con-rods, and you risk invasion of wizards. If the box is gone, simply remove the lug nuts from the passenger side of your car and drive it in two concentric circles before replacing them. Then, your motor will last another 50,000 miles.

I'm not sure could be walking...I just have wierd things like sometimes when backing up, it seems like I'm letting the clutch out slow and giving enough gas but the whole car starts to shake violently, the only way to stop it is you have to stop the car completely and then start backing up again, playing with the clutch or gas wont stop the shaking, kinda like almost stalling but its not. Also I have had time when my clutch gets really, i mean really easy to depress and then switches back to normal slightly hard. It is a ACT 2100. I hope it doesn't start walking or hasn't already.

Wow i never expected this many replies to this thread but i'm glad all you guys posted. I have 56k on may 95 tsi and it runs great except for the lifter tick i get on a cold startup and now a slipping stock clutch until its warmed up. I'm glad to see that most of these cars have high miles and still run great! DSM drivers beat on there car more than the average driver but they still run strong and hard. I wouldn't necessarily say i beat on my car, i just drive it like i should but and maintain it like its my child. So how many of you guys say you drive your car hard compared to just driving it like your moms camry everyday? Anyways keep em running as long as you can guys!!!!!

HA!! I got you all beat, 145,000 on my 95Tsi awd. Runs perfect. I have to fix minor problems now and then. But I keep up with regular maintanance and have been fairly problem free. But now it's not the engine i'm worried about, it's everything else that is starting to get a little, well old. wish my baby wasn't so old
