I just wanted to update this thread to say I just purchased what I believe is a ''rare'' dsm (due to the milage). It's a 98' GSX, With 29,000 original miles. The car sat for a long time. I'm going to be restoring it back to it's original 100% show-room condition, As I'm sure it will sell for a decent amount when finished, And being I build these cars daily it will not be hard for me to do.

I'm posting this because I've never personally seen any dsm in person with such low milage. I had th recheck everything a few times because I just could not believe it.

I get a few of these cars every single month (3-5), And I've NEVER had one come in with under 100k miles! I thought 100k was low! LOL.

125,000 on body
270 on new motor
0 on new new motor

I'm the second owner and original miles!!

I'm not!! I bought mine with 68k 6 years ago, I don't drive it much

The 98' 5spd GSX I bought last nite needs to be completly restored to orginal stock condition,
But luckly I build 4-6 of these cars every month as my main job for myself, So it will not be a problem for me.

I could not believe the milage, but then I seen the title, And I also car faxed it when I got home.

The car itself has goofy wheels, an unpainted front bumper, chrome projectors, And other goofy things, So I'll be tearing it down to an un-rolling body and doing it over completly with all new parts straight through mitsubishi, from the ground up.

I will then be selling it, As I'm sure it should go fast being the actual original milage and a clean and clear title. I always thought 100k was low LOL.

Just sad to see it's current condition,Considering the milage. It sat for a LONG time though.

The title said 7miles on it when I bought it off the last owner! The best thing was, I paid $500 for the car with 68k miles on it! It had a blown motor, with #3 rod out the back of the block, and really bad endplay on the crank (crankwalk)...When I took the tranny up to shep to get built to a stage 4, he said it looked brand new inside!

Bought my 95 GSX back in 2007, only 63k original miles:D, 100% stock. Now at 76k.

I go to school for collision work and at our shop we have a 97 spyder gst that has 7k miles on it. I shit my self when i saw that. It doesnt run but i dont think i would take much to get it going. But when i bought mine a year and a half ago it had 56k on it, i was the second owner and now it has 76k.

Just hit 32K and some change!

Have you ever tried to sell it? I'm curious to see how much it would go for, That's super low milage aswell. I would think it would get EASILY $15k bone stock with the milage.

You would think, but unfortunately it is not the case. I recently purchased a 99 with 31K and paid way below that. He had it on the market for about 6 months and no one could come up with the cash. The majority of the people who purchase vehicles over 8-9K get some sort of loan, and a loan goes on book value, not "market value". These dsm are in the similar boat as older stang GT's. The book is only 3k for a 89 gt with 20k on the clock, but you and I know it is well worth over that.... But no one has the cash!

Had 170k when I bought it last January off the original owner, all stock, original motor and head, turbo, suspension, radio head unit, exhaust. Ive replaced most of that stuff though, the stock original 6 bolt still runs great with good compression and no lifter tick. Should be interesting to see how long it lasts once I get a clutch in it and get it tuned. I plan on running 20-22psi on the evo 3 16g till I pop the head or head gasket and then plan to put in some cams at the same time I get the head rebuilt. Only downside is its fwd :(
