Dsm link or reprogram chip

Is it better to get a datalogger set up or just get a chip reprogrammed to your car specs?

DSMLink, while pricier, isn't just a datalogger. It's a full tuning system.

Pre-burnt chips, you'll have to get a new one any time you change injectors, or want to change your stutterbox rpm level (if the chip comes with it). DSMLink, you just plug the cable in, plug in your laptop, and alter the settings as you see fit.

Think of it as those preburnt EPROMs, but you can change the settings yourself, instead of getting yours reburnt or having to buy a new one.



I'd go with full DSMLink. It's what I'm saving up for, once the new exhaust is on the car.
