Drop Engine Mounts?

New to the forum. Just broke 350whp with my project and an I am looking for new engine mounts. Did anyone try the Drop Engineering mounts? They have black and silver(chrome) on sale. Looks like I can get a complete set of 1G mounts for less than $100.00!

Anyone try them? It might be worth a shot based on the price alone.

No i never tried them i just used what others use the engergy suspsension ones. They seem ok but what a price drop.

I run 3 out of 4 poly inserts and love them. And 3 out of 4 cause it was getting late, and I had to get on the road. It's a big change from the stock rubber ones.

I would contact them and ask about the performance of them related to any of the others out there i havent see any of those but, the ones i have seen are the engery suspension ones, fairly cheap too, for all four.

I don't know what Energy Suspension's durometer rating is, but I'g guess it's similar. These should perform just like a set of the ES inserts.

They certainly look very nice. At that price, I'd suspect they're being discontinued and close-out priced. Better get them before they're gone if you're on the fence.

I just ordered a set of Avid Racing solid urethane mounts from Extreme Psi and they are in the mail. If I had known about the price discount and the different colored inserts from Drop Engineering, I might have purchased these instead. I already knew about these mounts from Drop when I ordered, but I didn't want that neon lime green color that came with these.

I ordered a set of these from Drop on sunday. They should arrive tomorrow on friday. The durometer rating is 75, which im almost certain is the same as energy suspension. Total came up to $117 and some change. FAIR WARNING: I ordered them and my bank account showed that i had two pending charges from them in the amount of $117. I emailed drop late on tuesday and got a response on wednesday morning saying not to worry i wouldnt be charged twice and the other $117 would drop off. I checked my account today (thursday) and the second charge has dropped off. If you order them have spare in your account in case the same thing happens to you. Overdraft fees are high

anyone know if this deletes the power steering? I noticed the L shaped bracket is not there.

Seems like a good review, and they just brought them to a fantasic price. I'm getting a set.
Also, Aproductions, one member in that thread-^ posted about installing them on his GVR4 with ease, but didn't mention if they were the DSM ones or GVR4 specific...

The green drop inserts crumble like play dough after a few months, however I believe they changed the insert material some and are now black. Be ready to lose teeth fillings.

They came with a lifetime warranty which is good, if they fall apart or something.

The 1G didn't need engine mounts, but for this price, how could I say no. Especially when there's a lifetime warranty.

Also, I too was charged even though they said I wasn't. Apparently their system does that automatically and refunds it within two days.

I've had my Drop Engineering mounts for a long time and I love them. $100 is a f'ing steal for them! I would have purchased 2 more sets if I saw this in time!!
