Engine Mounts

just put a new axle and control arm in my car and now i discover that all my motor mounts are bad the front and side one look easy but the one by the firewall is a challenge. can anybody give me any advice on getting the rear mount out.

small hands , jack on the motor and a lot of patience,took about 4 hrs to do it with motor in the car, biggest pain is getting it back in obviousley.

just took car out for first test run after fixing the axle and it still cliks when i reverse. sounds like tires rubbing but its not please tell me its just the motor mounts cause im getting mad and considering selling this pos

When you put it into gear does the car jolt?

it used to jolt but now it only jolts when i put it in reverse.

Could easily be the rear rollstop. Easiest way to change it is to use a jack and a piece of wood, put pressure on the jack by jacking under the oil pan, and I used several extensions to reach the bolts without needing to manuver my arms under the intake. With the bolts out, you should be able to slide it out by swinging the mounting plate towards the firewall and lift it out. Reinstall the same way. Also a good time to upgrade to prothanes as well.

Yeah go with prothanes. Gives you that nice vibrating feeling in the steering wheel.
