I'm working on a friends AWD swapped spyder and he just got his driveshaft back from being rebuilt by a shop. The problem he's had with the yolks (this is the second one) is the retaining clips as seen in the video. They aren't sitting perfectly due to the model of driveshaft. Apparently this is a different driveshaft than what the yolk is designed for? Not 100% sure.
Either way, what do you guys think about those retaining clips? Take it back and have it redone or run it as is? It's only those 2 clips with the issues. The other 2 on the yolk are great. This is the second yolk that he's gone through trying to make the retainin clips fit. Anyone run into this before?
