driveshaft carrier bearing fix question

so I researched that you can fill your carrier bearings with window sealant by filling the holes in the carrier bearings. My question is do you have to fill the holes on both sides of the carrier bearing? Also I would really like to see a picture of the "smaller" holes that you are suppose to fill on the carrier bearings
 
the actually called 3M windo-weld sealer it is the silicone type, i want to make sure it is ok to use.
