I never have trouble with the passenger side. Today the drivers side window would not move. The funny part is I just parked it and rolled up the window hung around at a friends house for a while than got in maybe an hour later and the window would not work. Now just as I get home (around 4 am) the window all the suddon starts working. I roll it up and down a few times and Im like "cool its workin again" right before I shut the car off I decide to test it one last time....window wont work again! WTF? This is one of those times I wish I didnt have power windows.

Also something else strange happened today. I got in started the car up and the radio was doing its normal thing where its all fuzz for a minute or so. While it was doing that I was trying to get the window to go down hitting the button a few times and everytime Id hit the button the static from the radio would change tone and it was obvious it was going along with hitting the driver side power window switch heh. Gonna have to pull the door panel off I guess really dont feel like ####in with it today though

if you're getting radio distortion it may be the window motor...but without jumping to the most expensive fix, start with the switch...if it works sometimes and not others it may just need to have the contacts on the switch cleaned...take off the panel, unplug the switch harness and then remove the switch panel from the door...carefully take it apart it has springs...so make sure you contain them all. take as little of it apart as you can and still get to the brass or copper (it's been so long i don't remember) contacts that rub on each other when the switch is moved...run a wire brush or some sandpaper over them, put it back together and see if that fixes the problem...the switch coudl also be broken beyond repair....which you'll know when you take it apart...and you can replace it with a new one (junkyard). otherwise it is probably the window motor itself.

Took a piece of sandpaper and cleaned off all the metal contacts inside the Driver door P/W switch. Works fine. :thumb:

Was praying the whole time it wasnt the motor because that thing looks like a PITA to get out.

I also fixed another minor problem I had with the power window switch sticking in the down position. Though I honestly dont know what I did.
