Resolved Driver side ac fan way to turn it on no ac compressor

So i dont have an ac compressor or lines and the previous owner had only one fan (passenger side) but the car gets warm with long steep uphills not over heating just warmer then usual so i bought a slim fan and hooked it up like i read on here but im not sure how i can test it to make sure that its coming on like its supposed to..

You could run power through a relay and use a simple toggle switch. Like ^^ said, if you have link you can click a tab to turn fans on. The only thing about that is it's a pain in the ass and your fans are ON on, as in, when you turn to "on" keyswitch, iirc it's been awhile, the fans are full blast. So you're pulling a decent amount of current while cranking. Normally all other systems shut down when cranking but i believe when that tab in link is click the fans run anytime the ign switch is in "on"

I would run a simple relay and put a toggle switch it. Wanna get fancy, order a thermo coupler) relay at a lower temp than stock and wire it in. Someting that kicks on at like 160* or 180* that will act to bring in the fan relays. You can ground a pin on the ecu to power both fans on high as well.
Many ways to skin this cat.

Or just simply jump the relay with a short wire. It turns the fans always on high. How I used to run mine before link. Here's where I got the info from. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/wayback/2gcoolingfan.html. But I didn't use a switch just a small wire and plugged the relay back in.
