So anyway I've been researching alittle about different ways of dealing crank trigger issue with the 6 bolt swap into a 2g and there is the options I have found:

1. Use the black top cas- con is CELs, startup issues
2. Kiggly trigger sensor - con is its expensive, non-replaceable sensor
3. Fabricate your own bracket for the 2g trigger - no cons, just needs work/fabrication
4. Hyundai 96-97 front case - some people say this will work but it looks like the block needs to be tapped for the 1 out of line oil pump bracket bolt and you have to use the hyundai oil pan and OFH
5. Use the RRE og way and mod the 7 bolt front case - not doing this hack job... to much work

Why can't we just use the 7 bolt trigger plate and trigger with a little custom bracket like this wise fellow did?

Can't you use the adapter RRE sells that allows you to plug the 2g harness into the 1g CAS? Then use ECMlink and check off the box that stops the ECU from looking for random misfire codes?
