ok so im wondering what is the lightest door, gutted stocks, tubing and sheet metal, fiberglass, or cf? or any other options that might be lighter. for a 1g by the way

A .125" thick lexan/polycarbonate 1G door window weighs roughly 3.5 lbs. The factory glass weighs 8.5 lbs.how much does the lexan weight?
I honestly don't think you can remove the beam with hacking up the inner shell a little bit. Freeing the beam from it's fixture is the easy part - fishing it out from the inside of the door is the tricky part. I have to remove pretty much everything on my doors to get the job done.has anybody cut out the safety beam with out cutting the inner shell?
