Hey guys, problem is on a 1G DSM/91 Talon(for future searchers).

Problem is: when driving and hitting bumps, door ajar light will flicker and the interior lights will gently flicker on and off. Sometimes when they stay on I can open and shut the door firmly and it’ll go off.

When parked: lights stay off. No random battery drain.

What I’ve done: I’ve replaced the switches on the door frames/body, and tested them. They’re fine with no loose wires or connections.

When I taped a little piece of cardboard as a spacer, problem goes away entirely. But it’s a jank fix and I am incapable of leaving it like that.

Question: is there a way to adjust the door to close tighter/closer to the body so the switch stays closed? Is there an adjustment range for the door striker on the B pillar?

Compare the door switch to the other side one. Does it not stick out as far, not long enough, something bent, etc? Or perhaps a partially broken wire somewhere (inside the insulation) of the door ajar switch?
