Gotta love the GTO but what is the performance differences between the toyo t1r's and the bfgoodrich kdw2's? is it worth the extra $135 a tire?

Awesome car man! I have really been considering getting one for a dd, what kind of gas mileage you getting with the charger on there?
What's up Marlon. How you been? Thanks for the comp. Yeah, you know me and my cars. I'm anal. I know.deemorn said:Nice ride Matt, I still cannot believe you are through with the DSM game.I must say that is one of the cleanest GTO's i have seen in the Low Country.Sure wish Savannah Dragway was still open so i could see it run.Last time we were out there we made a few people angry.Once again first class project as usual. Might start something new myself.
Marlon
. Probably waiting till I put a clutch in it to take it to the track. Want to take it to a 1/4 though. None of this 1/8th mile crap. I'm so tired of 1/8th mile tracks. Anyways...so what's your new project gonna be

erebusknight said:love it but, personally dont like the shifter feel (too in love with VW's). Make sure you show us the economy. Shoot for higher then 10mpg

. So here we are to the ATI. CLEAN install. Front mount air to air. Self contained unit (think about how big a plus this was for me considering what happened to the first one I got from them, see pics above,...self contained means only blower goes bad and no metal goes into the engine). Very quiet unit as well believe it or not. It's got quite a bit of room to grow too. $83.00 for a pulley and walla, more boost. And to top it off it was the cheapest kit. Half the cost of the APS, couple grand under the STS (w/ my options added), and about a grand under the Maggie and Vortech. paranoidTSi said:Well hello there grand prix...sorry I don't like it..not only do they not look very sporty..they are made by pontiac. At least its not a WRX or STi.
Some people will never learn.L2RTSiAWD said:Nice numbers.
Those rear mounted turbo kits are scary.

Ah, to each his own. I consider it one very smooth, sleek car. And one HELL of a sleeper.paranoidTSi said:Well hello there grand prix...sorry I don't like it.
Actually, they're NOT made by pontiac. It's made by Holden in Australia. Shipped over here along with every other 2004-2006 GTO that is in the states.paranoidTSi said:..not only do they not look very sporty..they are made by pontiac.
Yeah, ok. Again, to each his own. But if I had to choose between this or an STi (or even an EVO), I'd take this.....Oh wait, I didparanoidTSi said:..At least its not a WRX or STi.

Since then I have added only JBA catless mid pipes. VERY nice sound. Much throatier than stockericbev said:So that thing is bone stock besides the procharger? I dont know if you posted it, but what psi was the 488 made at? I am really liking the color. Keep up the good work.

Boost was 9.2psi and since opening the exhaust up some it's now at 8.8psi. Lots more in store too so stay tuned
