GUESS WHO GOT ANOTHER 420a

i just picked up another gs i dont know what it is abt them i just keep finding them and i cant pass up a good looking dsm any who i got a nice exhaust and it came with a decent cold air intake but the headers look like junk i come to you with a few questions what are some good mods im not thinking off and if anyone knows some good headers that would be great? thanks to all

I'd say the best mod would be to keep it stock and get a 4g to build. If you think the 420a is cool get something that can actually move and you'll see why everyone strays away from them.

My 420a is staying 100% stock for awhile and then I MAY entertain doing modifications to increase the mpg (intake, exhaust, probably about all).

Go forced induction if you want speed, if not you should know not to fiddle with anything else.

right now i have a boosted 420 with all forged internals and it runs great with the occasional problem i do admit but no good 4g63's come up around me all too rusted or blown motor/trans and im not really equipped to do a swap so in that case i gotta go with what i can. im not trying to run 10's here or even 13's im just trying to make it a bit quicker till i can find a 4g63 that is respectable

As for the OP why would you put money into a car if it's not what you are truly looking for. To be honest to find a good 4g63 many people (myself included) had to drive a few hours to get a nice 4g63 so if you can I'd widen your searching area.

I know it's just a 420a but you should post pictures of it. Always enjoy looking at 2gs regardless if it's a 420a or 4g63

These threads normally have one good post and the rest are nothing but shit. I'm instructed to hand out rule infractions to anyone who bashes a 420A owner by telling them not to mod their car and to just get a 4G63 instead unless they mention it themselves as a possibility in the original post. Keep that in mind when you choose to respond.

To the O.P.- we don't know who you are since you joined just two months ago, so you can't address the entire forum as if we'll be surprised to learn that you got another 420A. Also, if you're that familiar with the platform you should know what headers are good, what aren't, and where the search function can be found on our site.
