2G Dome light wiring

Hello

I’ve got two dome
Lights but neither match the connector plug in my 2g which was originally from a 97 eagle talon tsi

Does anyone know the correct wiring and I can just change to different connectors for now

The manual shows different connectors for vehicles with and without a sunroof. These are shown as looking at the wire side of the vehicle harness connector, locking mechanism on top.

With Sunroof

1 - black, ground
2 - black with blue stripe, to pin 3 of ETACS
3 - black with white stripe, top pin 4 of ETACS
4 - No wire

So, yes, swapping connectors around to match what you have can be done.

Thank you for that, what about the wires on the dome light themselves. i have a red/black, red/green and a two greys that are tied together

The diagram doesn’t specify what each is inside the dome light. But it would make sense that the two greys tied together are pin 1 and then share a common ground for the bulbs.
