Does this Knock sensor look bad?

i just pulled the head, and there is no oil leaks,

how does this look?

i just installed meth and i am haveing trouble getting the timing on DSMlink just to the stock locations at 20ish psi,

when i should be able to have +2or3 deg at like 25psi

im running a M10 meth jet so its not to small


but how does the sensor look?

If that is indeed the knock sensor oozing out, then it needs to be replaced.

thats what i think it is,

it cantt be oil so thats what it must be

i just ordered a new OEM one

^^^ extremepsi just took a bunch of money from me for OEM stuff...

Like oil cap and some gear lube that I cant get around here... Plus it was cheaper to buy it from them because the shipping would cost more than the oil cap... OH the agony!!

i read that they leak, but i just want to see to compair it to mine

The one I pulled off from my rig that was bad (outside the wire was torn off and gone...) that the goo was all but melted out of the back and the element inside the goo was exposed.

that goo insulates the element from outside vibrations...

Advance Auto Parts can get the knock sensor for $56, and usually can have it the same day, if you order it that morning

Should have a yellowish/brown goo coming from the bolt thats you put on the back of the block. If thats the case then replace it, mine on my 1g did the same thing.
