Does anyone have feedback for showdown motor sports in toledo oh?

Just doing research on this shop i am thinking of buying a forged internal short block from showdown motorsports in toledo... just want some feedback?

I bought a 4bolt rear axle for 1g off of Bill at Showdown off of ebay. I messaged him to see if he had the other side and he did!
His shipping was lightning fast
I called him on the phone as well and he answered right away and was very friendly and knowledgable
Definitely POSITIVE feedback from me

He has an 8 second 1g (IIRC)..... sounds like a decent guy.

he's actually local and ive never had a problem with them. He is usually lightning when it comes to ebay sales. I have a Eagle/Mahle motor from them in my car and havent had any problems with it

I bought a drop in six bolt 2.3 from him with mahle rods and pistons. Basically it is a six bolt with a modified front cover so my 2g crank angle sensor works I used my 2g head and it is totally sleeper. He was a little slow but warned me when I ordered that he was real busy at that time.

No problems and like everyone else has said he picks up the phone and will talk to you or answer questions.

I've done business with him several times and would consider buying an engine from him if I was in the market for one. He's a good business man, you just have to talk with him and decide if he's going to be your engine builder.

I have yet to do business with them but my friend last year bought a short 6bolt block to replace his shot 7bolt and had no problems, he gives them two thumbs up!!
