Does anybody use any of the custom ebay oil caps?

Lookin for a custom oil cap and eBay seems to have a couple for cheap. Are they any count?

I ran one before. Lasted me about 2 months then started to leak. Just buy a oem evo 8-9 oil cap from extremepsi. They aren't that expensive either.

i had one but the badge fell off now i have a HKS replica and its great no leaks and seals good too. HKS cost about $60 copy cost $15

I've had some leak and some work ok. Just a thing to watch for, some have an allen head bolt holding the metal "lock tab" in. Take it out and red loctite it, I've seen a couple come loose, and one even fall into the head.

I've been running one for 3 years. Double up on the rubber gasket under it (I just took the one off my stock oil cap and added it) and it won't leak.

Yes agreed, I used one for a month, became a pain in the ass. Also started to leak a week before, thought I had a valve cover crack.

As it was stated above, evo 8-9 cap is perfect. I bought one after the ebay one and have never used anything else.

I picked up a billet oil cap from ebay. Its polished silver with the mitsu logo engraved on the top. The sealing area has a o-ring instead of the gasket. It is a very snug fit but never has leaked and looks great!

I had one of these Aswell. A while back, unfortunately let it go with one of my dsm sale's. iirc bonehead performance (on eBay) is where I got mine from. The mirror etched mitsu or eagle logo is bad@ss!

Now the seller i bought this from said he got it a few years back brand new and never used it. It was 14.99 shipped. Best cap i have had since i owned this car and will never go back to a gasket cap again. Even when i had an improper PCV setup this cap held strong. I also want to note that the bolt and little cross locking bracket is off my stock cap. The billet cap didnt have this when i got it.

I bought that same one on amazon. Put it on and ran the car for a day, next day I open the hood and it leaked everywhere... Hopefully you have better luck

I definitely don't want anything to fall in the head from the oil cap failing.
