Well the title says it all, I feel as though this might be a stupid question and Idk if I'm posting in the right sub forum, but I've asked several people and searched the internet (yes including different car forums i know this doesnt only apply to dsms) and have found nothing. I just swapped a new engine into my 99 gsx after it blew up about 7 or 8 months ago and Idk the year but its definitely a 2ga engine because the cas was different. I swapped in my old intake cam with the cas so that I could plug and play with my 99 ecu... I've been driving the car like this for about 3000 miles with no major negative problems yet, however it smells heavy like unburned gas sometimes and when I swapped my plugs the other day they were burned sort of a copper color and crusted over a little bit... I don't know if its running rich or not? No cel (there were two but that was for solenoids which I replaced) so basically I just want to know if its safe to run the car as is while I buy parts then tune in the future probably spring or summer, or whether it should be tuned right away (everything is stock right now and I don't plan on installing anything major other than an exhaust and some gauges and suspension until I'm ready to tune it) any input much obliged, thanks!
