The title pretty much explains it all. I have a 99 gst, and plan on buying an fmic kit.

No. Only 16g's and 14b's require that.
For an intercooler depends which one you're going with.
Greddy style intercoolers. No!

I wouldn't recommend an intercooler with the t25. I ran the tracks with the small side mount at 17psi with no problems.
You're just going to encounter more lag. "Believe me this!" LOL

edit:
Database error's are causing weird issues. LOL

In honesty if you really want a front mount for looks. Get the smallest one possible because if it's to big. The turbo will have to fill all that space up.
Example. A four year old kid blowing into a 2 liter pepsi bottle vs a 20 year old man blowing into a 2 liter pepsi bottle.
The 20 year old man(bigger turbo) will fill up that 2 liter faster then the kid (t25 turbo) and that will be your lag.
Save your money for a bigger turbo. Before we go any further. You should list your intentions/ goals.
Just do it right the first time.

You should buy a used 14b or 16g you can find people selling them really cheap on the classified section on here I remember awhile ago someone was selling a whole kit for $450 that's a good deal I brought my EVO 3 16g for $350 whole kit even came with a EVO 3 Chrome heat shield and j pipe the guy was parting out his 97 gst so I brought it quick

I'm not trying to be dick or anything but I still have the wimpy t-25 and didnt feel any difference when i ran it with my smic and my fmic. If anything it improved my time at the track. I ran a 14.3 on the t-25 and fmic, and on the smic ran a 14.6. I dont have any logs or anything for it. Im just saying.

Maybe you improve on racing :sneaky:
True, some car will run different. One of my buddy with a gst spyder and punishment racing intercooler felt no lag at all with his t25.
But when I had my punishment intercooler kit and t25. Lag was right in my face laughing at me and instant throttle response pick up was non existent.

Also think about how hard your turbo is working to produce boost on all of that piping and the intercooler core as well. The T-25 is tiny and to produce the same amount of boost over that large of a surface area the turbo has to work it's tiny ass off.

Id recommend upgrading your turbo if your gonna do a front mount set up. save yourself the money of having to buy more piping when you get another turbo. I've seen people run a 16g with a big side mount with no problems so a front mount is pretty pointless for the t25. It's a sad excuse of a turbo.

Ok, I'm not so into changing the turbo. So.. I will not be getting an FMIC. What all would be recommended to do to my car? I don't really have any goals, just want it to be nice sounding and over all a smooth, fast, and clean ride.

If you want more kick. Set that little turbo to 17psi with a way to log the car. If you don't have a boost controller pick up a fp adjustable actuator.
But an upgraded side mount would do you more then good.

If you can't get a front mount...
You can have SMOOTH, FAST, CLEAN and SLEEPER!

Sounds good. I would really also like to add some exhaust? What would be recommended.

Depends on how you like your pie? LOL
With my hks hi power, stock down pipe and cataylic converter. It sounds very nice. Not to loud at all. And at 70 mph and up it's pretty quite.
Search on youtube, that's how I picked the noise I would like

When I search on YouTube I feel that the cameras can't pick up the sound right. Should I really trust it? Haha.

Where can I find one of the upgraded side mounts?
