The title pretty much explains it all. I have a 99 gst, and plan on buying an fmic kit.

No. Only 16g's and 14b's require that.
For an intercooler depends which one you're going with.
Greddy style intercoolers. No!

Maybe you improve on racingI'm not trying to be dick or anything but I still have the wimpy t-25 and didnt feel any difference when i ran it with my smic and my fmic. If anything it improved my time at the track. I ran a 14.3 on the t-25 and fmic, and on the smic ran a 14.6. I dont have any logs or anything for it. Im just saying.

If those are your goals, leave it stock and keep her well maintained.
Ok, I'm not so into changing the turbo. So.. I will not be getting an FMIC. What all would be recommended to do to my car? I don't really have any goals, just want it to be nice sounding and over all a smooth, fast, and clean ride.
Sounds good. I would really also like to add some exhaust? What would be recommended. If you want more kick. Set that little turbo to 17psi with a way to log the car. If you don't have a boost controller pick up a fp adjustable actuator.
But an upgraded side mount would do you more then good.
If you can't get a front mount...
You can have SMOOTH, FAST, CLEAN and SLEEPER!

When I search on YouTube I feel that the cameras can't pick up the sound right. Should I really trust it? Haha.Depends on how you like your pie?
With my hks hi power, stock down pipe and cataylic converter. It sounds very nice. Not to loud at all. And at 70 mph and up it's pretty quite.
Search on youtube, that's how I picked the noise I would like
Thank you very much! [=easiest way is just google "supra sidemount dsm" youll get a bunch of stuff
